Our name comes from the ark: a shelter where, whatever the storm, you can still think for yourself and say what you think. We want to be that kind of vessel, one that anyone who wants to stay free can step aboard.
Everyone’s freedom to think and to speak is where all creative work begins, and what a healthy society stands on. So when any power tries to bind thought or silence voices, we push back with what we build.
Small, and stronger for it.
Ark Studios is a small studio run by the two of us.
We don’t need rounds of meetings that wear the edges off an idea, and we don’t need to follow precedent. What we make, and what we choose not to, we decide for ourselves.
That leaves us free to reach for ideas a larger organization might pass over, and to move quickly once we’ve decided. For us, being small is our greatest strength.
